The holidays are a time for toys, singing carols, and giving back. Honda has decided to combine all three of these holiday activities with Honda Throwback Toy Tunes, a series of three videos that feature some of America’s most beloved childhood toys. In these videos, Gumby and Pokey, Skeletor and He-Man, and Jem and G.I. Joe each sing their own renditions of familiar holiday tunes. But that’s not all—each video is associated with one of three charities, including the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Little League Urban Initiative, and Children’s Hospital of Orange Country.
Each video is available to view on Honda’s YouTube channel. The video with the most views by December 21st will win a $50,000 donation for the charity associated with it. The other two charities will also receive $25,000 donations, too, so no one everyone truly goes home a winner.
“Honda is committed to being a company that society wants to exist. And we are dedicated to giving back and bringing joy to people’s lives,” said Susie Rossick, senior manager at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “There is no better holiday gift than helping the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Little League Urban Initiative, and Children’s Hospital of Orange Country, and having some fun in social media while we’re at it.”
