Honda Jazz Debut Makes Music at Paris Motor Show

2015 Honda Fit

The Honda Jazz, known as the Honda Fit in the U.S., recently made its debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Honda is singing a brand new tune—and it sounds a bit jazzy. The Japanese carmaker recently revealed the newest Honda Jazz (known in the U.S. as the Honda Fit) prototype at last week’s Paris Motor Show and, thanks to a revised exterior and a longer wheelbase, it is music to the industry’s ears.

A completely new silhouette with harsher angles and sculpted lines creates a more modern look for this new compact hatchback, while the external dimensions have extended the body, adding more legroom than ever before. The Jazz will offer a 1.3-liter Earth Dreams engine designed specifically for the European market, along with a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT transmission, while the U.S. market Fit will still have a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

The Honda Jazz debut will be followed by its arrival on the European market in the summer of 2015. Lucky for us, though, the Jazz’s twin, the 2015 Honda Fit is already on sale at Valley Honda! Stop in today for more information on this versatile hatchback.
