You have heard it a million times before, you have probably seen the scare tactics as well, but Honda is taking a different approach with their Don’t Text and Drive Honda Safety Campaign. The Campaign reminds the younger generation about the dangers of texting and driving in conjunction with Distracted Driving Awareness Month this month!
The new Honda Safety Campaign is a social media campaign that uses the hashtag #ThumbsUp and emoticons to stress the importance of not texting while driving.
“Honda’s “Thumbs Up” campaign is designed to resonate with a diverse group of younger drivers to raise awareness of the perils of texting while driving,” said Jeff Conrad, Honda division senior vice president and general manager. “Honda is deeply concerned about the safety of all of our customers and we remain committed to enhancing the safety for all of those on the road.”
The Honda Safety Campaign also includes downloadable mobile wallpaper and banners to remind you not to text and drive.
