Honda’s Oklahoma Tornado Relief

In light of the tragic tornados in Oklahoma last week, Honda recently announced that it will be donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross – Disaster Relief Fund. This money will be used to help relief efforts in the various areas affected by the recent tornados. Honda will also be donating portable generators to several local relief agencies. The power provided by these mobile generators will be very beneficial to rebuilding efforts.

American Honda Finance Corporation will also be offering assistance to Honda customers through various methods such as extending loan payments and waiving late charges.

“Honda wants to support the many individuals and families devastated by the recent tornadoes in the Midwest,” said Tetsuo Iwamura, Honda’s president and chief executive officer. “As we have responded to past natural disasters, supporting the Red Cross and other local relief agencies is an effective way to quickly help those affected by the storms.”
