Read Across America with Honda Manufacturing

At the beginning of March, Read Across America Day was happening all over the United States. Honda Manufacturing of Alabama associates read to students at Stemley Road Elementary in Talladega. Honda donated new books to the school library in honor of the great Dr. Seuss, who’s birthday happened to be on the same day.

Read Across America is sponsored by the National Education Association, as an annual reading motivation and awareness program. It celebrates reading with all the children of the community, along with honoring one of the greatest children’s story tellers of our time, Dr. Seuss. His birthday falls on March 2nd, and so to honor him, “Read Across America” will always be on this date.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” -Dr. Seuss
