The Honda Accord has been named the “Best Sedan” in the 2016 Popular Mechanics Automotive Excellence Awards, adding to the popular car’s already lengthy list of honors and accolades.
Most of the 2016 Honda Accord’s upgrades came in the form of extra tech, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which let customers use the car’s infotainment system like a display and controller for their smartphones—exactly the kind of features our customers want at Valley Honda.
Popular Mechanics hailed the Accord for “refusing to follow trends” like all the other cars in its segment seem to do; for example, its exterior design is “proudly upright,” and those who wish to enjoy the rumble of a V6 engine can still have it in the Accord when most other sedans have now replaced V6s with turbocharged four cylinders.
Instead of doing things like everyone else, the Accord carves its own path—and for the better. Who needs to follow trends when you can set them?
